The story behind CruiseWeave

A lifelong love of cruising. One big idea.

Hi, I'm Ari. I've been cruising practically my whole life, and CruiseWeave is the passion project I've wanted to bring to life for years.

How it all started

I'm 37 years old, and I've been on more than 65 cruises. For as long as I can remember, I've loved everything about cruising, from learning about different ships and planning itineraries to exploring new ports and simply being out on the ocean.

Over the years, I've spent a lot of time comparing cruise lines, looking for good deals, researching ships, and helping make sense of all the options. And even with that experience, I still find myself jumping between website after website just to plan one vacation.

There's the cruise itself, of course. But then there are flights, hotels, transportation to the port, and things to do when the ship gets there. Each piece has its own website, search options, and schedule. It can turn something you're excited about into a pretty big project.

I kept thinking there had to be a better way. Eventually, I decided to try building it myself. That's where CruiseWeave came from.

What I'm building

I want CruiseWeave to be useful whether you're planning your first cruise or your fiftieth. The goal isn't just to list sailings. It's to help you understand the differences between them, compare your options, and make the rest of the planning process easier too.

Get to know the ships

Explore ship details, features, itineraries, and comparisons before choosing your next sailing.

Find the right fit

Compare cruise options based on the details that matter to you, not just a headline price.

Connect the whole trip

My longer-term vision includes making flights, hotels, transportation, and shore excursions easier to plan around a cruise.

A personal project, built with cruisers in mind

CruiseWeave is still growing, and I'm building it a piece at a time. Some of the tools I'm planning are still in development, and I want to be upfront about that. But the reason behind the website is simple: I genuinely love cruising, and I want to create something I'd be excited to use myself.

Whether you're just starting to explore cruising or have already spent years at sea, I hope CruiseWeave makes planning the next adventure a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.
